What is a Prompt?
Prompts are the requests or the input you type into your chat interface to get a response from your AI assistant. They can be either questions, demands or tasks that you ask your assistant to do. It is important that you provide additional context or the scenario in order to get useful results in seconds. If you have little experience in prompting, then the Prompt Library might just be the perfect supporter to kickstart your AI journey.
What is a Prompt Library?
Our Prompt Library is a collection of useful prompts that you can access any time you need the help of your AI assistant. Just like a regular library, it is a repository of carefully selected knowledge that has accumulated over time.
You can either create and save prompts yourself or you can access prompts that others in your team chose to share with you. That makes the library a helpful tool if you want to start chatting but just don't know where to start. Our Prompt Library is designed to make your first steps of using your AI assistant as easy, intuitive and accessible as possible.
How do I save a prompt?
You can create a prompt for the Prompt Library manually by entering the Prompt Library via the sidebar. There, you can also search for particular prompts or see the ones you created yourself. When writing a new prompt for the Prompt Library, you can be very specific or keep it more dynamic by using placeholders. When you or your co-workers re-use the prompt, they can fill the placeholders with whatever information they need for their inquiry without needing to write an entirely new prompt. This saves everyone time and effort while generating useful responses in seconds.
You can also decide afterwards if you think a prompt was particularly useful and should be part of the Prompt Library. You can select the respective prompt right away or much later via the chat history and save it to the library. This is a more organic process that allows you to discover best practices over time and share it with others who can in turn profit from your learnings.
Where do I find the Prompt Library in the AI Suite?
The Prompt Library is deeply integrated into our chat interface, making it easily accessible to you at all times. You can either open it via the sidebar to get an overview over all of the prompts that you've created and the ones that others have shared with you. If you have a specific prompt in mind that you would like to access or edit, the filter options make it easier to find it.
The Prompt Library is also part of the chat interface. If you want to start chatting and need some inspiration or want to save time with a prompt that you frequently use in your workflows, just open the library in the chat, select the fitting prompt and optionally fill in the placeholders with the information depending on your search enquiry.
What do I need a Prompt Library for?
Everyone on your team can benefit greatly from a collection of helpful prompts in the Prompt Library. Especially if you are just warming up with AI, the library offers you a selection of different prompts that are already tailored to the needs of your team or department. This allows you to get started on generating useful responses right away and simultaneously provides some inspiration on best practices that others have already discovered in their own experience.
Departments that frequently deal with a similar topic but in slight variations can save valuable time by collecting commonly used prompts to have them at hands in seconds. The placeholder function still keeps it dynamic, but there is no need to start prompting from scratch over and over again.
Our rights management furthermore enables you to share best practices with everyone on the team or selected groups and individuals, which allows you to learn from each other. If you prefer to keep a prompt to yourself, but would still like to re-use it from time to time, just set it to private and it remains yours. It's up to you!
