From v.1 to v.2 in just four months: the recent evolution of our AI Suite
In March this year, we celebrated the release of version 1.0 of our software. And now, version 2.0 is here - only four months later. How? Our software development team has continuously invested countless hours that translated into new upgrades and features almost every week. In the weeks leading up to our Spring Break event, we worked very hard to include as many new features as possible and were initially not sure if we would be able to keep this velocity up - especially since we planned to complete a lot of internal refactoring in the second quarter of the year. But turns out: we can!
We recently celebrated the release of v.2.0 - of course in true synsugar fashion with loads of confetti. It also means that we were able to launch a new version of our software almost every week despite the quality sprints that revolved almost entirely around internal refactoring.
Here's what's new in v.2:
New UI
All areas in the AI Suite have been reworked and modernized extensively, making them more accessible than ever. We completely renewed layout and sidebar to make the software even more intuitive. The new breadcrumb navigation allows you to always keep track of where you are in the app, and the configuration of assistants, prompts, sheets and knowledges has been massively simplified.
Dark Mode
The new dark mode furthermore allows for a completely new experience of the AI Suite, especially at night or in dark environments. Users can adapt the design individually in their system configuration. In default, your browser's or system's design will be used.
Improved Websearch
The integrated websearch has received an extensive upgrade. Before, only a limited amount of sources could be taken into account. Now, the AI conducts a Google Websearch and analyses up to 10 different sources. Of these sources, it filters out the relevant ones to generate a response.
The result: much better and more specific responses. In order to better understand where the information comes from, every source is cited at the end of the sentence with an icon that leads to the original source. All links are located in the sidebar, which opens upon clicking on the respective icons. That way, users can check relevant information or delve deeper into the topic in a matter of seconds.
Conclusion: we continue to make progress!
Our product development progresses rapidly. Our interface has just received a new makeover, is more customizable than ever and the websearch has seen notable improvements, to name just a few of the many advancements and new features that we have managed to include over the course of the last weeks.
